The detailed schedule is available on the official site http://mrolympia.com/2018/weekend-schedule

Heath is the Favorite

Phil Heath is the favorite that that big show and there is a reason for that – the last year’s impressive performance. Matt Weik from BodyBuilding.com gave credit to this 38-year-old athlete who has “eliminated his weak areas and transformed his physique into one insane 3-D package.”

Heath is not the only Weik’s favorite; he also admitted the strength of Shawn Rhoden and William Bonac.

Heath wants to achieve history in Las Vegas, and this gives him some additional motivation. He has a real chance to win the Sandow for the eighth time. This will ensure him the number of victories similar to Lee Haney’s and Ronnie Coleman’s.

Big Ramy is a threat to Phil Heath

Big Ramy is probably the only competitor able to upset the bid for the history of Heath. This Egyptian took the second place a year ago. This year, his fame size and physique will really impress the audience.

Rich Gaspari, the IFBB Hall of Famer, thinks Big Ramy is able to dominate the stage, as he wrote in Generation Iron column. But he also thinks that conditioning could be a problem for imposing competitor.

Since 2008, Jackson also is in the mix for a second title. Age could be his only issue, while he is 48, 10 years older than Heath.

Jackson is one of the bodybuilding legends and he could show up a renewed determination to his younger competitors, including Phil Heath, Bonac, and Ramy.

However, they think even the best efforts of Jackson won’t be enough to beat Heath. He always saves his best for the event and probably will achieve his glory in Vegas.
