The 2019 Arnold Strongman Europe competition was crushed by Mateusz Kieliszkowski. Top strongmen from all around the world gathered at the event to show who is the worthiest.
The competition was tough but at the very end, Mateusz Kieliszkowski showed he was strong that all the rest. Mateusz won three events out of five.
Let’s not forget though that Martins Licis, the World’s Strongest Man didn’t compete this year due to his injury. But we could still see him attending the event as a referee. He still isn’t qualified for the Arnold Strongman Classic 2020. Licis won the WSM, but there are specific qualification criteria at the Arnold, so to earn enough points, he has to won an Arnold event yet.
Mateusz Kieliszkowski and the second and third place winners Olexii Novikov and JF Caron were already qualified for the Arnold Classic 2020. And the fourth-place winner Mikhail Shivlyakov was qualified after the 2019 Arnold Strongman Europe event!

Brian Shaw is another name everyone remembers. However, he earned his 7th place in the Arnold Strongman Classic Europe and is currently not eligible for the 2020 competition regardless of being a former Arnold Classic champion.
Hafthor Bjornsson is the previous year’s champion and is automatically invited to the Arnold Classic 2020.
The competitions for Shaw and Licis to qualify for the Arnold Strongman classic are not scheduled yet. But at the beginning of the year, there should be events in Santa Monica, although the information is not confirmed yet.
