So this is a question I see on the forum a lot lately, asking this question ‘how to build chest muscles fast’ I mean. I don’t think it’s a bad question, but I think anyone who is using anabolic steroids or at least considering them, should probably know how to develop a good chest muscle to a degree.
But alas, I’m going to explain below how to build chest muscles fast and how to build the best chest a man can have, one that is as big as Pam Anderson or.. well, you get the idea, don’t you? Let’s get going!
First off I’m assuming you are using this exercise, and you should be, let’s look at the bench press.
The bench press is one of the most superior exercises for hitting the chest, it works the chest, the triceps, the shoulders, and to a lesser degree it can work the biceps, and abdominal muscle, and to a minimal degree, it even works the back muscles while you are stabilizing, it’s no real shock the exercise is so popular unfortunately it is usually popular for the WRONG reasons rather than the correct ones.
It is a great exercise that is a heavy compound lift, it tends to give you a massive release of natural hormones such as testosterone, human growth hormone, etc. It is also perfect for recruiting and activating muscle fibers and your aim should be to continue improving your strength levels on it on a weekly basis or at the very least improving the rep and sets on a weekly basis. But if you are asking how to build chest muscles faster you need more in your arsenal than just this.
Another way to answer your question about how to build chest muscles fast would be the weighted dip.
By leaning forward on a dip, and preferably a weighted one you will put more pressure onto your chest muscles, you will be able to hit them harder and build a large chest, this is one of my favorite exercises if not my favorite exercise overall for building a large chest.
Honestly, I do this EVERY chest session and I’ve seen so many fantastic strength and muscle results from it I could never say a single negative thing. For example, can you tell me another exercise out there that works the chest, triceps, and shoulders to the same level this one does? You can’t? No surprise there!
Another great exercise is, of course, the incline bench press.
This can be done with the barbell or dumbbells, personally, I prefer dumbbells, and while we are talking about dumbbells I want to stress that some people love the dumbbell bench press over the more traditional barbell for building muscle mass, especially women, but I also know a lot of men that do, so if you are at a sticky point in your chest training try swapping that old barbell for some good old dumbbells! It might be just what you need.
Finally, there are a ton of other great exercises you can do to end your routines. Push-ups between chairs, or weighted down with a weighted vest are quite fantastic. Likewise, the cable cross-over machine is a good luxury if you have access to one. There is also dumbbell flies that many people tend to love and enjoy.
