Lou Ferrigno a legendary bodybuilder, Arnold’s main “Rival” back in the golden age of bodybuilding. It’s debatable he was even bigger than Arnold overall. I personally believe, as many of you will with common sense, he was on a vast amount of anabolic steroids. Obviously he would not have the peptides and hormones that are available to the more modern age bodybuilders such as Big Ronnie. But Dianabol, Anadrol, Tren, Anavar, Clen, Testosterone, Deca, you get my point… All of these anabolic steroids were taken just as often as they’d eat meals, after all what was it Arnold called Dianabol? The breakfast of champions, no?

He’s probably the second most successful bodybuilder in history after Arnold himself. Though, he has not jumped into politics yet. But jokes aside what did his training look like?

He’d train 6 days per week almost full body workouts every other day and occasionally daily! Yes. Now anyone who takes their training seriously in the slightest will start to realize the amount of anabolic steroids this guy was obviously on to train this way.

Wide grip pull-ups, Squats, dead lifts, close grip pull ups, overhead press, Leg presses, shoulder raises, all of these were done to create such a fantastic physique. He’s won Mr Olympia numerous times and deservedly so. What impressed me the most is his amazing size – easily the largest bodybuilder of his era at 6.5, 275 pounds, complete with 60-inch chest? What also impresses me is unlike many of the other bodybuilders from his era, he’s now approaching 60 years of age and you know what? He looks better than 99% of the population still!

Incredible isn’t it? There’s all these guys going to the gym roiding up, yet he looks better than all of them and they’re in their 20’s still! This is when you realize what a great athlete he was.

Again, a lot of people ask me how to get as big as Lou did. Want to know how? Work hard, and I mean hard, dedicate yourself, stop drinking, cut down to having a cheat meal once a week, not a cheat day or a cheat every day, just once a week. Train your ass off, when your friends are out, you’re not, you’re going to the gym, you’re going to kick ass. You’re going to look better.
