Zlatan Ibrahimovic got knee injury

This Thursday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic got knee injury in the Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final victory over Anderlecht. Due to which his future is in doubt.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suffering from hyper-extend his knee while landing uncomfortably. He was playing against the Belgian near 90th minute the accident took place. Many are predicting the knee injury very serious because the Kurt Zouma, Chelsea defender also got the same injury last year in February. He was not able to play for nine consecutive months.

According to Luke Shaw, he is relieved over the injury of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he was walking in the changing room, Jose Mourinho is not optimistic regarding Ibramhimovic Injury. In the same series Marcos rojo was also injured on knee.

Earlier in the match, Marcos Rojo was stretchered off after being hit in the knee while going in for a challenge.


Later the match ended, Mourinho said: “I don’t think they are easy injuries, but I prefer to wait for all the tests to be done tomorrow.

“I want to wait. My feeling is not great for both. I want to be optimistic, but I’m not.

“I can’t say any more than that, I am not a doctor.”

When again he was asked, if the initial diagnosis was honestly positive, Mourinho added: “Fairly negative. I think.”

United have more or less nine games left this term, with seven Premier League fixtures added to by the Europa League semi-final two-legged affair weeks.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not yet decided his future after the end of this season. United are expecting a contract of one year by him. If the injury is a serious one probably this will be his last match from Premier League Club.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic created doubt when he spoke before the season. He said that he is now just focusing on winning the matches and trophies and has not yet decided about the future.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic said, “I will not lie, the season has been great.”“But I’m always comparing my seasons to the seasons I’ve been doing. My last season was amazing.

“I’m happy I chose this club because I think this club is the biggest in Manchester, in England and one of the biggest in the world.

“I have nothing else to prove, everything has been said. I want to collect as many trophies as possible and enjoy.


“I don’t know how long I have left. Marcus, Rashford, Jesse Lingard have long careers in front of them. I was there 15 years ago; I don’t know how long I have left.”
