Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the barbells themselves, so you can’t get acquainted with them to the fullest. By the way, the weightlifter is Chinese and he’s not active on his Instagram or Facebook, while these social media are blocked in China. For that reason, it’s very difficult to follow his life and career, as well as the development of his new barbell line.
However, releasing his own equipment line is a great step in Lu’s career. We hope it will work well for him, unlike for Dmitry Klokov.
We remind you of the story of Dmitry Klokov, a popular Russian weightlifter, who also launched his own line of weightlifting equipment at the age of 32, after his official retirement from international competition. But since its official launch, the company didn’t confirm any information and didn’t post anything on social media, so its future is pretty doubtful.
But we hope the line of barbells by Lu Xiaojun will be a success, as well as his accomplishments, including his ten gold medals won at multiple World Weightlifting Championships and his one Olympic gold medal, won in London.
A 380kg total at the 2013 World Championships was his biggest total. However, Lu is going to compete at the 2020 Olympics in his -77kg weight category.
