Many fans of the open world action-adventure game are eagerly awaiting its release in November, but there is sad news for some gamers. It seems that the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 has been delayed. Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 will be delayed for two weeks.
As per IGN, the announcement was made by Ubisoft to let the players know that the Watch Dogs 2 for PC will be launched on November 29 instead of the initial release date, November 15. This is dire news for the PC gamers that are waiting for the game’s release. However, on the brighter side of things, those players who made pre-orders for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be getting the game as planned on November 15. The reason for the delay is said to be because the company wanted to ensure that the game is “optimized to meet the development team’s standards.”
Note that to control some of the slightly broken hearts of those PC fans who will have to wait a few extra days, Ubisoft has announced the specs and graphics of Watch Dogs 2/ IT is said that the game will have 4K support, with “Ultra textures”. This can be found in the Extra details menu and will most likely be downloaded separately. Players with a monster rig will be happy to know that Watch Dogs 2 knows no frame rate cap, hence the limit for visual effects are as high as your PC’s capacity.
Moreover, Watch Dogs 2 will have stuttering/lag frame rate optimization to ensure a great visual experience, there is also Screen Space Reflections, Headlight Shadows, plus anti-aliasing options.
