With fans getting crazy about the newly exceptional Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the list of devices that are going to receive the update, the final announcement was rather an unexpected one. If we talk about the Nexus line-up, the devices that came in the final list are Nexus 5X and 6P, Nexus 7(2013), Nexus 9, and Nexus Player. For fans, the shocking news came in the shape of Nexus (2012). The gadget was unable to impress the authorities for this new update.

Nexus 7 (2012) has already been awarded last two updates so authorities have to say pip pip to this gadget this time and instead opt for its 2013 version. The Marshmallow update is truly a amazing offering from Android and has stolen the show with amazing features and exceptional updates. Apart from Nexus 7 (2012), other phablets of this line-up such as Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 also failed to impress the authorities.

Apart from Android Marshmallow, Nexus line-up gadgets are also going to get updates through Google Play for operating systems such as Android Lollipop. However, users of Nexus 7 (2012) should opt for other options as far as Marshmallow update is concerned.
