With regards to the length the ideal one is 12 to 16 weeks, though first timers sometimes go for just 8 weeks.

Testosterone Cycle for Pro

This advanced testosterone cycle guide is only if you’re a professional bodybuilder.

If you consider yourself in this category, the cycle length needs to be 16 to 24 weeks and the dosage at 1000 mg per week minimum.

In fact 1000 mg may be a bit too low for some, so they take up to 1750 mg or 2000 mg per week.

At this advanced stage of a deca and testosterone cycle or standalone testosterone cycle, most don’t actually stop the cycle.

What they do is drop down to 250 mg or lower levels after the 16 or 24 week cycle before commencing on the next bulking phase.

If you’re a bodybuilder and getting ready for a competition, you will start the cycle several weeks before the competition.

As the date of the competition comes closer, you will reduce the testosterone dosage by a few mgs. To make up for this however you need to inject yourself daily rather than the usual twice a week routine.

At this advanced cycle it does not make a difference whether it’s short or long based ester, because a daily injection is necessary to ensure testosterone levels are at the highest level.

This might seem like a copious amount and it is, but as professional bodybuilders will tell you, it makes a huge difference in terms of muscle and performance gains.

Don’t rush into the advanced cycle: make sure you have experience with the newbie cycles so you don’t end up feeling the side effects too much.

This cycle is one of the most basic and at the same time is one of the most popular owing to its efficiency.

Not only is this stack effective but does not cause a lot of problems like fat buildup, man boobs or water retention.

Concluding a Cycle

Once you have attained the testo gains you’re looking for, it is time to end the course.

When you terminate a cycle this means stopping the use not just of the testosterone but all other anabolic steroids that you may be taking.

As was mentioned earlier you have to undergo PCT (post cycle therapy) so your natural testosterone level reaches its normal function as it would have been reduced during the cycle.

There are different types of PCT plans available and the one to use depends on what type of testosterone and steroids you were using.

If your cycle involves the use of long ester testosterone, your PCT has to commence a couple of weeks after the cycle ends.

If you used short ester testosterone with your cycle, your PCT needs to start a few days following your final injection.

That is the reason why a lot of cycles culminate with testosterone propionate: if you use testosterone propionate in the final 3 or 4 weeks and all the anabolic steroids you used have a short ester, you can commence the PCT earlier.

The sooner you start the PCT cycle the faster you can normalize your T levels.
