Playstation 2016 Meeting

The PlayStation 4 is going to be released on the 10th of November 2016 while the slimmer PS4 model has a 15th September 2016 release date.

Now, here’s a recap of a few of the things to look forward to from Sony:

It’s finally time for Netflix to make its way onto the PS4. More than 600 hours of footage is going to be compatible with the PS4 Pro’s HDR and 4K at launch and even more content is on the way.

Mass Effect Andromeda

The game’s first look was released at the event. This is the fourth installment of the beloved Mass Effect franchise from EA.

Call of Duty

Infinite Warfare looked very different in the new footage that was released. It is set in space and gave off a very chilly Alien: Isolation vibe

This game, along with a couple of past titles, Modern Warfare and Black Ops III are also going to be supported by the PlayStation Pro 4 at launch. The latter game is also going to get a free update.

Same discs

It’s finally confirmed. The PS4 and PS4 Pro are both going to use the same discs.

PS4 Pro

The PS4 Pro is a console that will be sold alongside the PS4 instead of replacing it. It will support gaming in 4K and is also going to feature a boosted clock rate, a 1 TB hard disk, and an upgraded GPU.
