Samsung is going to launch it’s very new mobile phone set at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the Samsung Galaxy S9 release date in the month of February 2018.
Talking about DJ Koh, the company’s smartphone chief just have stated and finalized the launch of the new model by Samsung to ZDNet yesterday at CES.
The company’s smartphone chief has not yet declared any specific date for the mobile phone launch but the Mobile World Congress is going to be run from February 26th, 2018 to March 1st, 2018, which gives us an idea of its launch to be taking place between this time frame anyway.
The new Samsung Galaxy S9 (assuming the Galaxy S9 plus too) is going to be successors to the prior galaxy S8 and S8 plus which launched at a Samsung event in New York in the month of March 2017 before going on sale in April 2017.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 plus were a great hit with critics, who praised the phones for another levels’ beautiful design and brilliant camera specifications.
We, right now know nothing about the new Samsung Galaxy S9 specifications at this point in time, though we’re not looking for any sort of radical departures from the Galaxy S8. Rumors about the smartphone suggested us – it is identical to its predecessor, with an inadequate tweak moving the rear fingerprint sensor to below the camera of it (rather than its current, awkward position of off to one side).
Though, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus won’t be all Samsung aficionadi have to look ahead to the end of this year. Conversing with ZDNet, DJ Koh also iterated that Samsung is planning to launch a foldable phone in 2018. What exactly “foldable” implies in times of functionality isn’t clear, but smartphones with curved displays have been a passion of Samsung’s for more than 5 hours now. So far, it’s given us the bizarre Galaxy Round but also the thriving wraparound screens of the S7 Edge onwards.
