Rockstar Games had been busy, especially on social media sites, whereas the game developer posted photos that made fans go crazy for the news it can mean for Red Dead Redemption 2. Fans are mistaking these posts as the company teasing about Red Dead Redemption 2.
During a Sunday afternoon, giant game developer Rockstar games posted a photo on Twitter, it was a refreshed version of the company’s logo but on a red background. The tweet has been posted 110,000 times. Although it is known that companies don’t announce such big news in this manner, many are still seeing this as a sign regarding the coming of Red Dead Redemption 2. Usually, companies would spend huge amounts of money in events like E3 to make sure that the unveiling of their new product has a lot of audiences.
It is worth mentioning that the western action-adventure game that was released in 2010 was a huge success. The game depicted the world of the Wild West beautifully, with an interesting storyline as well. The game’s color is indeed red, much like the setting sun in a western field. After that one photo tweet on Sunday, the company posted another questionable photo 24 hours later a photo of seven figures silhouetted against a setting sun which seems to be referencing The Magnificent Seven.
It is quite unclear if fans should take these as signs that the Red Dead Redemption sequel is in the works or just take it as it is. There are some who say that the photos are more of a way to show off an HD remake of the game rather than a sequel or prequel.
