Ric Drasin Told That Anti-inflammatory Effect of CBD is Nothing But Another Bodybuilding Myth

Just a few years ago a usage of marijuana or any product extracted from it was banned among bodybuilders. However, now when cannabis has become legal and widely promoted as a part of therapy and treatment against a number of diseases, CBD and similar products are becoming more common for sportsmen.

There are a lot of sportsmen who believe that CBD oil has an anti-inflammatory effect and can be used for curing some common traumas in bodybuilding. You can easily find internet articles and videos that are created to prove the effectiveness of CBD. However, at the same time, there’s no official information that would prove the theory.

The veteran of bodybuilding and one of the most popular media persons in the history of the sports Ric Drasin decided to find out whether CBD oil can be used against inflammations. The ex-bodybuilder has become a real expert in many issues connected to the sport. His great experience and knowledge make him look for a scientific background behind any aestetic bodybuilding tips and recommendations.

This time Ric has spent a lot of time checking articles and facts about the CBD oil and its effect on a human’s body. In order to prove his final conclusion, Ric invited an expert who could explain how the oil works.

Ric has verified the fact that CBD oil is not really harmful to one’s organism and can’t cause serious health issues. It can really be applied to curing some health issues. However, it’s absolutely not effective against inflammations and traumas that are so typical for bodybuilders.

Drasin told that some bodybuilders could really feel some relief using CBD as it is able to reduce the intensity of pain and level of a stress hormone. However, it has nothing to do with an anti-inflammatory treatment and can’t solve the problem for a long time.

Ric thinks that such myths may be dangerous to one’s bodybuilding career and warn people from using those tips that are not officially verified with scientific facts. He advises using those medicines that have a proved effect and are prescribed by a physician that you trust.
