HBO has confirmed the release date of Game of Thrones season 7 episode 1, right before the premiere of season 6 this year. Season 7 was announced on 21st April 2016.

Is it too early to get excited about the next season of Games of Thrones? NO, Not at all. With the end of Season Six, We, the fans of this one of the most bestowed series need something related to GOT, to get excited about. With 2017 is approaching we are looking forward to another exciting season of GOT. Although many of us were praying with their finger crossed for a sequel or prequel, here we are getting two more seasons of this popular drama series on television. HBO has already answered to our prayers. We all know that there will be another exciting season of this highly acclaimed and popular TV show.

It’s only been four months since we engulfed every scene of “The Winds of Winter” and here we are again desperately waiting for season 7.

The seventh season is going to be based on the outline of two final novels with the same name. This season will be reduced to seven episodes, not 10. It’s because of short story contents and increased production value.

Like all previous episodes, Season 7 is also going to be based on two final not yet released novels by George R.R. Martin. Shooting for season 7 has already started in Belfast from August 31, 2016, and will continue up to February 2017 and the season will begin airing in summer 2017.

HBO doesn’t want to end this popular tv series, and it is dragging this as long as possible. Season 6 was the first time when the show outstripped its source novel. Game of Thrones season 7 episode 1 will be premiered in the summer of 2017.

It will be probably on white walkers are marching south of the wall. Bran meets with Dolorous Edd, the new Lord Commander. Sansa and Jon argued about the fate of Northern houses that fought with Boltons and betrayed Starks. Sansa and Mormont want to reward their loyal supporters by giving lands to them, but John refuses to hold anyone responsible, as he doesn’t want to rule the north the way it has been ruled till now. The episode ends with Danaerys with her army arriving at Dragonstone.

The cast of Season 7: We are going to see Kit Harington, as Jon Snow, Peter Dinklage, and Tyrion Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emila Clarke as Daenerys and all other familiar old characters. Some new characters will come in picture. One character we thought is dead will be back in Season 7- Lain Glen (Ser Jorah). Now he is a greyscale.

From the house of Mormont, another lady is about to make a significant mark in season 7, Lyanna Mormont. Some rumors are there about Kham Drogo being back in season 7.
