More and more famous sportsman understand that building a successful career is still not everything in life. Charity becomes that special issue that many bodybuilders think about.
Some share their earns with orphanages and hospitals, others visit sick children to cheer them up or promote donation programs.
Mike O’Hearn discovered his own way to spread the positive vibes around. He decided to support Shriners Hospitals, encouraging his fans to donate some money. A few days ago, the sportsman started 25K Calorie Challenge.
Due to the rules of a challenge, anyone can donate any amount of money and win a chance to train together with Mike O’Hearn and Heath Evans. The winner will have a chance to train in the legendary Gold’s Gym in Venice, California.
The sportsman shared details on his Instagram where he also posted a link that allows donating to the Hospitals directly. His post got more than 2 000 likes in a couple of hours after being shared.
Such a challenge may help to cure more children from poor families. Shriners Hospitals provide medical care to kids under 18 years old regardless of their ability to pay. Each year hundreds of children are cured in Shriners Hospitals. However, a lack of money forces the Hospitals to accept only a limited number of patients.
Mike has always been interested in helping people. He has already tried to promote some of the charity promos and donated money to several programs. O’Hearn’s desire to help others became even stronger now, a few months after the birth of his son Titan.
