Though it seems that apple will be sticking with its new trend and will drop the 3.5mm headphone jack on the new MacBook Air 2016 as well. The new laptop will have Intel’s latest processor under its hood, a USB type-C port, and touch ID verification via Apple Pay since it will be running in the MacOS Sierra which is already confirmed to have support for the Touch ID feature.

Since there is a possibility that the new MacBook Air will be released in October, there is bigger chance that it will have Apple’s 5k technology implemented as well, the chance of this happening is significantly bigger if the new laptop will be released in February 2017 instead.
