Broadway Hosts a Free Trick-or-Treat Zone from 12-3pm on Saturday

CAMDEN, N.J. – October 26, 2016 – Downtown Camden City will be full of ghouls, ghosts and goblins this Saturday when the community comes together and throws a Halloween bash to help revitalize the community.

“We know the tough times Downtown Camden City has seen lately and wanted to bring a safe event here for the children,” said Joe Kane. “That’s why several of the local merchants are throwing a big Halloween party to thank all of our loyal customers.”

Ten stores will transform Broadway into a safe trick-or-treat zone for the community with spooky fun and of course, plenty of treats for the costumed children. The South Jersey radio show Thunder Radio is sponsoring the event and also giving out candy. Children in costume might even be lucky enough to win a free pumpkin right before Halloween.

“Come out and support your local business on Broadway,” Kane added.

The event takes place in Downtown Camden between Martin Luther King and Stevens on Saturday, October 29 from 12 to 3pm. Children are encourage to attend in costume and be prepared for plenty of free family fun.
