On Google’s October 4 event, they have announced multiple devices to be released, including the Google Daydream VR Headset. The device will be able to support multiple contents and is made from fabric.
Google’s announcement introduced a lot of things during the major keynote speech held in San Francisco on Tuesday. The Google Daydream VR Headset will be able to support multiple sources like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Google Street View and HBO content making it a ‘must-own- device more many tech fans.
With regard to its physical appearance, the Google Daydream VR Headset has opted to be made out of fabric, hard plastic that is the norm for other headset producers. Google mentioned during their presentation that they did make an effort to make the Google Daydream VR Headset as comfortable as possible and to assure this, they even went as far as working with clothing makers to guarantee the best design. Looking at the Google Daydream VR Headset it does look quite comfy to wear as a mask. Since it will be used for gaming as well, wearing it for hours a day, it has to be comfortable.
The Google Daydream VR Headset has a remote that will be used to let users interact with the virtual world by doing swinging motions, and it can be stored in the front of the device when it is time to pack it up.
For all those fans who are waiting to buy the Google Daydream VR Headset, it will be available and on sale on Verizon and Best Buy on October 20 for $79. The Google Daydream VR Headset will come in different colors to choose from including gray, slate, snow and crimson.
