There are new updates in store for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India. The said update will be improving the stability and performance of the two phones, plus new cool features to be added, including Wi-Fi, calling. One of the most notable improvements and the feature that comes with the new update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is Wi-Fi calling, which was a feature many looked forward to, it is indeed the highlight of this update. The new update is now available through OTA for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Note that this new update also includes the September Android security update.

According to reports by users, the new update is said to be faring quite well and is being spread steadily. The expectation by some tech enthusiasts is that the update will be available to all users in India by the end of the week. Note that this new update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is less that 150MB in size. It is worth saying that users must be sure that there is enough space on the device before manually updating it to avoid any hindrances.

In order to manually check for an update on your phone, you can do so by proceeding to the Settings app, then tap on About Phone, you should see a ‘System Update’ tap on that and you’re good to go.
