Eating Healthy for the Best Gains in the Gym

It seems that everywhere you look there’s and ad that encourages people to start living a healthier life by changing their eating habits, these ads are persistent and effective because people fall for it, for some reason people think that eating a low calorie burger or a salad at burger king is healthy, well, not even subway is healthy, it’s marketed that way which is totally different.

Eating healthy isn’t hard at all, it doesn’t have to be tasteless or expensive, not many people know what healthy eating truly is. The food industry is no different than a teenager wanting to buy a new cell phone because it’s “the thing” to own, the big food companies trick people into thinking they’re eating healthy hence the new fast food menu’s that promise healthy meals at a low cost which are probably even worse than the regular menu!

If you truly want to have a healthy diet you need to know what you’re eating, that chicken salad you’re eating from McDonald’s is probably made out of some hormone enhanced chicken and chemically enhanced lettuce, avoid fast food restaurants and their so called healthy menu’s at all cost!

They are everything but healthy, even a simple looking salad will help you pack on excess pounds that you don’t want. Stay away from soft drinks, you would be surprised at the quantity of sugar a small coke contains, the same thing goes for drinks like sweet tea and such, eating healthy takes time to master, not everyone can stay away from fast food cravings but if you do you will feel and look better.

Always try to buy real organic foods like eggs, vegetables and fruits, in some places you can find people that grow their own animals and sell them to the public meaning that you won’t get any hormone enhanced meats, try to stay away from everything that’s man made because chances are that those products are chemically enhanced to the hill.

If you eat healthier your risk for diseases will go down drastically and not only will you feel better but you will look better, if you eat clean for at least six months and then go back to eating a McDonalds cheeseburger you will feel like you’re about to die. Eating healthy should be about staying away from junk and processed foods and instead consuming natural and organic foods that along with exercise will amount to a long and healthy life.

If you look up any bodybuilder or physique model’s diet you will see that they eat very clean and that’s why they look like they do, nutrition plays a big part in having a nice body. They avoid junk food at all cost, below is a sample diet that a model or bodybuilder would follow.

Meal 1: 6 scrambled eggs, Ezequiel toast with almond butter, oatmeal with honey, 1 cup of coffee.

Meal 2: 12 0z. Of chicken breast, 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of broccoli.

Meal 3: 12 0z. Of chicken breast, 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of carrots.

Meal 4: 2 or 3 Sushi rolls, iced tea with lemon and a special gohan.

Meal 5: 12 0z. Of steak, sweet potatoes,1 cup of broccoli.
