Avid players of Clash Royale are surely aware that one of the best defensive units in the game is the Inferno Tower. Those who are not sure how to deal with the card being played bu their opponent would say that the Inferno Tower is overpowered and a rebalancing is in order in the name of justice for players everywhere.
However, players who have unlocked the secrets of playing against the Inferno tower will disagree about it being overpowered. There are multiple strategies that player can apply once their opponent unleashes their Inferno Tower building.
The notable units that are effective against the Inferno Tower are the Lava Hound, the good old Giant, and the Royal Giant. You won’t need a legendary deck to be able to take down that pesky tower of flames. You just need the above-mentioned units and knowledge how to play them right.
Take Down The Inferno Tower Using These Strategies
First off, you must know how to read your opponent and to do this you must think of what you would do if you were in their shoes. The moment you would deploy a tank-support siege, the tendency is that the enemy would go on the defensive. If they have the Inferno Tower, it is likely yo be played since it is a hardcore tank crushing unit.
As we mentioned before, Clash Royal Giant unit is a good counter for the Inferno Tower, if you use it right that is. If you have built yourself a deck with a decently leveled Giant card, then what you would like to do is bait the Inferno Card out of your enemy.
Once the enemy attempts to counter your Giant unit by playing the Inferno card, you must deploy distraction unit. This will save the Giant from getting hit as it approaches enemy lines. Try deploying either the Skeleton Army, Minion horde, Tombstone or Graveyard card. In case the Inferno Tower goes aggressive on your Giant you can utilize the Zap spell to reset its target.
Royal Giant Card
The Royal Giant in Clash Royale is another option to take down the Inferno Tower in Clash Royale. Using this unit wisely with the help of complementing cards will allow you to dominate that annoying Inferno Tower with ease. The idea is to deploy your tank units behind the King’s Tower, this can be the Golem or the Giant Skeleton card.
Once they are near the bridge area, unleash your Royal Giant and it will surely surprise the opponent. If you do it correctly, the enemy will have a hard time countering your play. The tendency is that your enemy’s units will focus down the tanks. Then your Royal Giant gets to prance on to do some heavy damage

Lava Hound Card

The idea is to use the Lava Hound as the distraction. Then have your support units hack and slash their way to the enemy’s IT. Use it with the Graveyard card and some Fireballs or Zap spells and the enemy will have no way to counter.
