Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta will be released for PlayStation 4 gamers in a week. As per Activision, the details of multiplayer are released and what to expect once the beta goes live.
The beta will be featuring three out of the six final game combat rigs. Activision describes it as “suits, chosen and worn by the player that provide a customized suite of tactical options that can be switched out mid-match”. Moreover, Warfighter, Merc and Synaptic rigs will also be featured in the multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
There will also be new Mission Teams metagame for players to try out, this will give players the opportunity to sign up with a crew and earn bonuses.
There will be a total of three maps to choose from, they are as follows:
- Circular, constricted space-station corridors in Frontier.
- Vertical combat, medium pace frozen environment in Frost.
- Main Street USA 1950s fantasy in Throwback.
The beta will also be rotating modes including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta will launch on October 14 for PlayStation 4, and as for Xbox One players, they will be able to get their hands on the game beta by October 21. In addition, the beta testing for the game will start on October 24, this means that PlayStation players will get to experience the beta for ten days while the Xbox One players get only three days of beta testing.
As for the final version release date for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it is actually set on November 4 for PlayStation, Xbox One and PC. The wait won’t be too long as the release dates for both the beta and final version is merely a few weeks away.
