Canadian CrossFit Games athlete Brent Fikowski announced that he was intended to leave his job to start training full-time for the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games season. Fikowski has worked as an accountant in British Columbia, Canada, after graduating from college in 2013.
Being one of the most analytical and calculated CrossFit competitors, Fikowski is pretty often referred to as “The Professor”. CrossFit is a numbers game for Brent.
Since 2016, Brent Fikowski has been climbing closer to the top with his fourth, second, and fourth place finish respectively. And he managed to accomplish it while working full-time. So what should we expect from Brent in 2019 as he focuses on his CrossFit career totally?
Fikowski wrote in his Instagram:
“Last day at work! Can’t believe I’ll be hanging up the ol’ calculator at my accounting job. Crazy where life takes you, graduated University in 2013 – fast forward 5 years and I’m quitting to be a full-time athlete. Very excited for new opportunities! Thanks @strawhouse for everything, best job I’ve ever had. See you at the Halloween party.”
However, there are lots of open questions concerning 2019 CrossFit Games with all those major changes launched. And the current top CrossFit Games athletes have especially many questions, while it is quite hard to qualify for the 2019 CrossFit Games with the new format changes.
In one of his interviews, Fikowski stated that at the age of 27 and with so many new CrossFit Games changes, he appears to be all in.
