Android 7.0 Nougat also known as the Android N is, in fact, the newest platform that Google has developed for android phones and tablets alike. The new Android 7.0 Nougat was introduced at the Google IO 2016, and much to the fans’ pleasure.

As for the actual availability of the Android 7.0 Nougat, it is already implemented on Nexus phones as they already have the free update. It seems that the availability will highly depend on the manufacturer of the phone and not on Google themselves. LG users will be glad to know that the Android 7.0 will already be available for a few units, namely the LG G5 and the LG V20. Next, up we have the Motorola users who are the best bet to be the second brand to have the Nougat available, after Nexus.

As for the rest of the Android world, users of Samsung, Motorola, Huawei and Xiaomi will have to wait a few extra months before Android 7.0 Nougat will be made available for their devices. The same goes for HTC and Sony.

Fans definitely have a reason to be eagerly awaiting the Android 7.0 Nougat as it offers a variety of new features and improvements. It is expected that the Android 7.0 Nougat will have multi-window support which is one of the most awaited features to date. This new feature makes Nougat devices in par with the Apple iOS.

Moreover, there will also be a Split screen mode, which is a cool feature that can be utilized whether in portrait mode or landscape mode, and it is activated by performing a long press on the app overview.
