Have you heard of the name “Pokemon”? I am pretty sure you have because it is one of the most popular franchises in the world today.

Pokemon was actually a very popular TV series and since then, the brand turned to new things in order for the company to flourish.

The company ventured into the gaming niche where it, too, was very successful. In fact, they worked in collaboration with Niantic Studios to create what is now known as the most popular gaming app for mobile devices in 2016.

Pokemon Go is created by Niantic Studios and it is an augmented reality game. The game is pretty interesting because of the fact that you can acquire Pokemon in your area.

Basically, the gist of Pokemon Go is that you have to go out there, find some Pokemon, and catch them. Of course, there are also other game mechanics you can enjoy such as the Pokemon Gym battles, for example.

Although the game was mired with a lot of issues ranging from connectivity issues to the removal of the in-game Pokemon tracking tool, it still remains one of the most popular games in recent memory.

Pokemon Go is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. If you want to use real money, you can use it to buy some stuff like additional Pokeballs, Incense, and lures. Niantic also said that they are going to increase the item pool in the near future.

The game is free to download and is available for both Android and iOS devices.
