According to the reports, a lot of what we’re expecting are far from Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. They are going to have a feature of a new 16nm Apple A10 processor, 2GB or 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM that depends on the model, it also has upgraded camera which includes a new dual-lens setup for the iPhone 7 Plus, and much bigger batteries. That would be all the pros.
But there are some negative articles found in the said leak, and the more I’m reminiscing about it, the more I get upset.
Let’s reminisce way back 2010 when Apple first introduced the iPhone 4; CEO Steve Jobs made a bold claim regarding the phone’s new high-resolution display. He said that the screen, which Apple dubbed “Retina Display,” would set the new standard for smartphones display for the next five years. Jobs was close. For about four consecutive years, iPhone features had the best among in the industry of smartphone technology. What Apple didn’t expect, however, was how quick would be the technology especially for the smartphone development would be and what other rival companies would match and surpass Apple’s screen tech.
In 2015, Apple didn’t make any significant upgrades to the features on its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It already begun that their rivals started to leave them behind in the industry that was selling 2K smartphones, Apple’s handset features are either a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution or a 4.7-inch display with just 720p resolution.
Pixel dimension is just one of the specs that help us to determine the display quality, of course, but Apple had fallen behind of their rivals as well.
