The moment I heard the news, I couldn’t believe my eyes and was in awe by coming to know that Samsung could more likely be a display supplier for the Apple Watch, and soon it would help build the next iPhone screens. The name of Samsung needs no introduction in Electronics industry and keeping this view, Apple has decided to shake hands with its arch rivals.

The buzz that has made spree is that the electronics giant Samsung is to build OLED displays for it’s the probably the most anticipated phablet in the history popularly known to be iPhone 7.

Prior to this contract, LG Display was the only supplier of displays with the Apple Watch and with this milestone; Apple would use multiple vendors in order fulfill its needs of the components, such as its processors and memory chips.

However, rumors are rumors and Apple is expected to make its final decision in November when it comes to whether to use Samsung as its display supplier or not, till then everything is not confirmed. Apple has also reportedly made a whopping $1.4 billion investment in Japan Display in order to build a plant exclusively to supply LCD screens to the iPhone maker. It is expected that this this plant would start operations until 2016. Moreover, it is also believed that Apple is also considering a reduction in the side bezels of the iPhone in order produce an amazing display.
