Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was a promising phone and people assumed it will be the hottest phone to contest Apple’s flagship. They were right, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a hot phone, literally. Samsung has not decided to discontinue the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after a troublesome global recall that already cost the company a huge amount of money and to make it worse, even the replacement batch was faulty as well. Samsung decided to call it quits earlier this week and discontinued the phone line for good.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had issues with its battery overheating and causing a fire, which initially caused the global recall due to the obvious safety hazard. Samsung has yet to release an official explanation as to why this happened but instead opted to recall all the units that were sold and shipped then replaced them. Unfortunately, the replacement was no good as well. Now that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been discontinued, what is the best course of action to take, replace the phone or get a refund?
Luckily, the option to get a refund or a replacement is available. Just get in touch with Samsung or the retailer you got the phone from and ask for a refund which is possible because the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a known faulty model, some retailers will offer a replacement phone if you prefer that method instead. Note that if you still have your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with you, do not charge it and let it stay off if ever you have any date you would like to retrieve, do so at your own risk.
