As fans eagerly await the PlayStation 4 Pro Release Date to finally arrive, word on the console being 4K/HDR-equipped seems to have some truth to it as confirmed by the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Digital Spy was able to interview the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Andrew House. During the interview Andrew was asked to verify the claims about the PS4 Pro being the 4K resolution gaming console it is speculated to be. House answered “I think that whatever the term is, it’s a question of whether people see a demonstrable difference in the game experience or not, rather than the term we use to apply to it,”
According to Andrew House, it seems that the term used does not matter, what is important is that the users will be able to tell the difference in the overall game experience.
It is said that the PS4 Pro will definitely have a ton of upgrades compared to its predecessor the PS4, and fans will be happy to know that the games that exist with the PS4 will be totally compatible to the PS4 Pro.
Aside from the PlayStation 4 Pro being made public, it is also known that the PS4 Pro will flaunt a 12.8 x 11.6 x 2.1 inches in dimension and a weight of 7.2 lbs while being equipped with an octa-core AMD custom Jaguar CPU, Integrated AMD Polaris graphics with 4.2 teraflops of performance. Plus one terabyte of built-in storage and finally a whopping 8 gigabyte GDDR5 of RAM capacity.
Fans definitely have a lot to look forward to as the PlayStation 4 Pro Release Date on November 10, 2016, inches closer and closer.
