Although PlayStation 4 pro doesn’t belong to the upcoming generation, the console will supplement the standard PS4 with certainly more features. The name of this device was opted for to show its association with the previous version, but the design is inspired to meet the state-of-the-art games caliber.

During the PlayStation summon, Andrew House, president and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, chewed over the two pros of the PS4 Pro: 4K and HDR. House described these as “natural” tracks of evolution for ocular fidelity. He continued and introduced lead architect Mark Cerny, commented and described mission of company “Take the PS4 experience to extraordinary new levels.”

“Our goal is to deliver high-fidelity graphical experiences; We aim to provide developers with tools to enhance their foresight.”

The new PS4 Pro’s hardware renovations consist of a terabyte of hard disk, 2x GPU, technology inspired from AMD Polaris graphical architecture and an exaggerated CPU clock speed, allowing it to cross the bounds not known to be possible in 2016.

Marvel and Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man, Ubisoft’s For Honor and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided are some of the higher-end games Cerny added a show off of on the 4K display of PS4 Pro.

To give an idea of the console’s outstanding HDR quality, Sony Bend’s Days Gone was used. Cerny doesn’t expect developers’ support on the HDR feature on the very beginning but is convinced that the beholders will observe the difference.

The fact that PS4 Pro doesn’t actually comes with better variations or completely another game makes it a bit overhyped. It supports the games that are already available on PS4 and it makes them graphically smoother and realistic. Some experts feel that this could hinder the gaming giants a bit but the lead architect Mark Cerny assures that the whole experience of gaming is going to change. He even gave a demonstration of some games which actually supports his claims. What kind gamers the console is going to attract is yet so see, but definitely it has make its mark on the world gaming platform for sure.
