LG V20 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Features, Specs, and Price Comparison! Which is the Best?

The LG V20 that is set to be released this year, is indeed a phablet not to be taken lightly. Numerous new features and improvements as compared to its predecessor, the LG V10 has made it quite a fan favorite. Namely the fact that the latest LG phone now has a Snapdragon 820 to boast about. That being said, it is considerable a contender against Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7. However, the Note 7 has been disqualified because of its tendency to explode. Now the V20 is being compared to the Galaxy S7 instead.


Both the Lg V20 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which is definitely a very powerful processor. Neither will disappoint in this aspect. The LG flagship phone has a slightly bigger phone body compared to that of the Galaxy S7, having a 6.3 x 3.1 x 0.3 inches measurement versus the 5.61 x 2.74 x 0.31 possessed by the Samsung Galaxy S7. Thus giving the Lg V20 a 5.7 inches screen size compared to Samsung’s 5.1-inch screen. This is something to be considered and will heavily depend on the user’s preference when it comes to phone size.

As per screen resolution, both phones have the same resolution standing at 2,560 x 1440 pixels, meaning neither will disappoint the user in terms of display, both are said to have beautiful digital aesthetics too.

Snapping ability is surely one of the components to be considered when weighing the LG V20 against the Samsung Galaxy S7. The camera carried by the LG V20 is a 16 and 8-megapixel rear camera plus a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is equipped with a lesser 12 MP rear camera and an equal 5-megapixel front- facing camera.

AS for the price, the Samsung Galaxy S7 sits comfortably at $699.99 while LG has yet to announce an official price range for its newest flagship phone.
