Apple’s iPad Mini 5 is certainly one of the most awaited Apple devices of the year, and there is news that the tablet may be released this week and fans are excited to see which rumors will be confirmed and which ones will be trashed. It is known that there was no word about the iPad Mini 5 during the last Apple event, so now fans are hoping to hear about it during Apple’s October 27 event. However, if the company does not mention anything about the tablet during the October event, chances are we are to get the iPad Mini 5 by March 2017.
With regard to the size and the display of the iPad Mini 5, it is known that the tablet will be 7.9 inches in size and will be made out of the same aluminum material that was used for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Sporting a 7.9-inch display, the device is expected to be very similar to the iPad Mini 4 in terms of appearance. There are also rumors pointing to the possibility of the iPad Mini 5 having a rose gold color available.
The iPad Mini 5 will be boasting an 8-megapixel camera with a slimmer design, though it is worth mentioning that it will follow the steps of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus in dropping the 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet is expected to sport a $499 price tag and the variants include a 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The 256GB model will not be available for the iPad Mini 5 since it is not an iPad Pro model. The new tablet will also have a 3D touch feature and support for the Apple Pencil. The iPad Mini 5 will come with the iOS 10 and an A9 chipset.
