Guccifer 2.0 Clinton Foundation Hack! Files Expose ‘Pay to Play’ and Bank Ties

The hacker who calls himself Guccifer has tossed quite a huge bomb towards the Clinton camp by hacking into the Clinton Foundation files to reveal information that may affect the tides of the 2016 elections.


Guccifer 2.0 Clinton Foundation Hack have revealed documents that reveal identified major democratic donors. Moreover, troublesome ties between TARP aid that are given to banks and their political contributions were also exposed to the public eye. There is even a folder named ‘Pay to Play’ which seems to be causing a lot of speculation. The same hacker was also responsible for the previous cyber-attacks on the Democratic National Committee and the congressional democrats

The hacker, Guccifer 2.0 even had a few words to share on his blog regarding this recent hacking incident. The blog read: “I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and donors’ databases. Clinton and her staff don’t even bother about the information security.”

To respond to this attack on their camp, the Clinton Foundation has denied that the credibility of the files that were exposed. President Donna Shalala said that “none of the files or folders shown are ours.”

It does not stop there, Guccifer 2.0 claims that one of the documents that were gathered shows information about big banks that are donating a percentage of money received via the government’s Troubled Asset Relief Program to the DNC. There was also an image of a spreadsheet shared that had the list of TARP amounts that were donated. The hacker had this to say: “It looks like big banks and corporations agreed to donate to the Democrats a certain percentage of the allocated TARP funds”

The aftermath of all this has led to several top Democratic Party officials to resign, this includes DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. While the Democrats are blaming the recent hacks to Russia, Guccifer 2.0 says that he does not have any connection with Russia but has admitted to having ties with the Eastern European extraction.
