Google’s big event for October is already upon us and if rumors prove to be true, there will be a whole lot of new devices to be revealed. Let us see what Google’s October 4 Event has in store for us.


Google’s October 4 Event will be releasing the two new smartphones that are directly Google-owned, namely Pixel and Pixel XL. The two phones are nearly the same in terms of specifications and the only difference is the size, the standard Pixel will sport a 5-inch screen while the Pixel XL will have a 5.5-inch screen.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL as expected will have nothing but the latest technology in terms of specifications under its hood. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with 4GB of RAM and a full 1080p HD screen, while the Pixel Plus will have a 2,560 x1,440 or 2k display to boast. The two new Google phones will have a 12-megapixel camera and even a fingerprint scanner for better accessibility and security.

The Google’s October 4 Event is also said to be released the Google Home. This new device utilizes the hype created by Alexa, Google’s voice assistant and the adaptation of the ‘ok, google’ command in a home setting. Home will have a speaker and an air freshener look plus google assistant equipped, so it is both decorative and handy.

Google Home will have an anticipated price of $129. This new home technology is also cast ready, so other devices that are Bluetooth-enabled will have additional advantages.

Moreover, the Chromecast ultra will also be released on Google’s October 4 Event, it is a TV streaming device that will support even 4k video streaming and maybe even HDR. The price is reported to be around $69.
