Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 News & Updates: Character List Expanded! Characters now at 87!

In a previous post in JBH News, it was said the official character list for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 amounted to a whopping 67 playable characters when a screenshot of the game’s selection screen was shared online. However, fans will be pleased to know that the current character list has been expended to a much bigger 87 character list. This new update will surely double the excitement that fan of the game have as they wait for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to be released.


Players should be aware that out of the 87 confirmed characters present in the game, only 68 will be playable. The rest will most likely be appearing in battles and adventures. The current list of official playable characters can be found below:

Custom Character, Goku, Goku Super Saiyan God, Goku Super Saiyan Blue, Goku Super Saiyan 4, Goku GT (kid), Gohan (kid), Gohan (Teen), Gohan (Adult), Future Gohan, Great Saiyaman, Goten, Trunk (Kid) Trunks (GT), Future Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Villianous Yamcha, Saibaman, Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, Vegeta Super Saiyan 4, Majin Vegeta, Zarbon, Dodoria, Recoom, Burter, Jeice, Guldo, Ginyu, Turles, Lord Slug, Frieza (Final Form), Frieza (100% Final Form), Cooler, Metal Cooler, Nail, Android 16, Android 17, Android 18, Cell (First Form), Perfect Cell, Cell Jr, Majin Buu, Super Buu, Kid Buu, Villianous Kid Majin Buu, Janemba, Villianous Janemba, Broly, Villianous Broly, Gotenks, Vegito, Gogeta, Gogeta Super Saiyan 4, Beerus, Whis, Jaco, Pan, Towa, Mira Towa, Bardock, Time Breaker Bardock, and Omga Shenron (Villain).

The playable character list is quite massive to say the least, but the series will also have a few characters absent in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, namely Hercule, Frieza, Raspberry, Videl, Nuova, Shenron, and Ice Shenron.

Either way fans have a lot to look forward to when the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 release date on October 25 arrives.
