With Bandai Namco’s upcoming sequel just around the corner, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is mere days away from its official release. To keep the hype train for the game moving, a new trailer was released. This trailer gives us a brief look at how a new feature, Expert Missions, works.

This new trailer shows off one of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Expert Missions. It features a battle against the Great Ape Nappa where you have to deal with him brainwashing players’ characters. If Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 players get caught by this brainwashing attack, they lose control of their character in the real world and must go up against a mirror image of themselves in a mental arena. As soon as this opponent is taken down, the player will gain control back in the real world.

If your allies start getting caught things might take a turn for worse. If players act fast enough, they can help their friends out of the brainwashed state. Else, the brainwashed allies start attacking and the players must defeat them in order to continue. Another thing featured in the new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer is the use of Gigantic Ki Blasts and how players can effectively counter this. The Gigantic Ki Blasts seem to need players working in tandem for it to be done correctly.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is expected to arrive with a manga version only be available to those who pre-ordered the game. As well a new hub world for players featuring the mystical Canton City as a new gameplay experience.
